In the Yunlin Dounan Market, they started their own entrepreneurial road, while Eason Liu, who still works in a Japanese company, came to the vendor to help after they got off from the graveyard shift. Becky Zheng took a small window to send DM along the road, and sometimes even NT500 a day turnover could not be reached in the early days. However, they couldn’t give up. After more than ten years of hard work, the couple finally obtained a sweet results. The Taro Yuan franchise store had increased by 30 branches in 2019. Although the COVID-19 pandemic was getting severe, it had become the dark horse for franchise chains in Taiwan. Our shops exceeded 140 places in a year, growing Fastest in Taiwan’s 2020 Beverages and Desserts Showcases. More than 800 tons of taro have been used yearly, and more than 500 million Taro Balls are sold. This number is still growing daily and is close to the number of planets in the Milky Way.
